7 Days of LeanShake: 7 weight loss healthy smoothie recipes

Yey, it’s a brand-new year. Let’s make this the one where we let our health come first! The holiday season can be a busy time. And, healthy habits do get lost with the catchups, late nights, sleep-ins and overeating at the dessert bar…  So before jumping into your goals for 2022, let’s restart your healthy habits with our 7 days of LeanShake challenge.

We want to help re-motivate you, rev up that metabolism and regain energy with 7 weight loss healthy smoothie recipes. We have a plan for you and no, it’s not a 7-day green smoothie challenge! It’s a plan that involves gaining back healthy habits with handy tips and the best smoothies for weight loss and energy. Are you ready to take on the challenge?! Bear in mind that replacing one meal with LeanShake promotes weight maintenance, and while replacing two meals with LeanShake stimulates weight loss.

The 7-day smoothie weight maintenance plan.

OK, let’s start planning. In this 7-day smoothie diet plan, we want to include some helpful and healthy habits to add to your day-to-day regime.
Here is the plan:

  1. Move your body daily for at least 30 minutes or more. This can be a walk, run, gym session, Pilates, or yoga.
  2. Replace one meal a day with a smoothie recipe we have created for you. We would suggest either replacing breakfast or lunch with a nourishing smoothie. There are 7 smoothie recipes to choose from and they are all full of nutrients, protein, and omegas.
  3. Stay away from high sugar/processed foods Once you start with this healthy habit, it does get easier. If you are craving a snack, have some fresh veggies, fruit, whip up some chocolate protein balls or snack on the Zinzino energy or protein bars. Do remember that balance is the key, and one piece of chocolate is not going to mess up your life or intentions. Promise.
  4. Go alcohol-free for the next 7 days. Yep, it’s time to give your body a break from the silly season. And that does not mean replacing the glass of wine with a beverage unless it’s sugar-free!
  5. Drink at least 1.5 to 2 liters of water per day. This will help with digestion and flushing things out.
  6. Try and get 6-8 hours of sleep each night. Set an alarm for bed and wake up at the same time each day. This is a great way to restart a healthy sleep habit.
  7. Plan your meals and meal prep. Dedicate one day a week to plan what your meals consist of each day, write a shopping list and prepare those meals. By having your meals set up, it is easier to chop up ingredients in preparation of cooking, or cooking the meal and freezing it. This will help you stick to the plan and transitioning to new, healthy habits, too.

Recipes:

Strawberry and banana smoothie

Ingredients:
1 banana
1 LeanShake Strawberry sachet
1 cup of frozen strawberries
1 cup of yoghurt or milk (almond or coconut)
2 tbsp of BalanceOil+ Vanilla
1 tbsp of chia seeds
2 scoops of ZinoBiotic+

Method:
Blend all ingredients together until smooth using a blender.
Pour into glass and add an optional fresh strawberry to the side of glass.
Enjoy!

Sunshine smoothie

Ingredients:
½ cup of frozen pineapple
½ cup of frozen mango
Half a peeled orange
1 cup of yoghurt (coconut or Greek)
1 LeanShake Vanilla sachet
2 tbsp of BalanceOil+ Orange, Lemon, Mint

Method:
Blend all ingredients together until smooth in a blender.
Pour into glass and add an optional slice of fresh orange on top.
Enjoy!

Green machine smoothie

Ingredients:
½ cup of frozen mango
½ cup of frozen banana
½ of a frozen avocado
⅓ cup of fresh spinach
1 LeanShake Vanilla sachet
2 scoops of ZinoBiotic+
2 tbsp of BalanceOil+ AquaX
1 tbsp of flax meal or chia seeds

Method:
Blend all ingredients together until smooth in a blender.
Pour into glass and sprinkle chia seeds or flax meal on top.

Chocolate delight smoothie

Ingredients:
¼ cup of rolled oats.
1 cup of frozen banana
1 tbsp of nut butter or peanut butter
1 tbsp of cocoa powder
1 LeanShake Chocolate sachet
1 cup of yoghurt or milk (use alternates if needed)
3 ice cubes
2 tbsp of BalanceOil+ Vanilla

Method:
Blend all ingredients together until smooth in a blender.
Pour into glass and add 1 teaspoon of nut butter or peanut butter on top.
Enjoy!

Mixed berries smoothie

Ingredients:
1 cup of frozen mixed berries
Half a banana
1 cup of yogurt
1 LeanShake Berry sachet
2 scoops of ZinoBiotic+
2 tbsp of BalanceOil+ AquaX
1 tbsp of chia seeds

Method:
Blend all ingredients together until smooth in a blender.
Pour into glass and add 5 fresh blueberries on top.
Enjoy!

Pink smoothie

Ingredients:
½ cup of pink dragon fruit
1 small beetroot chopped into small pieces
½ cup of frozen strawberries
1 cup of coconut yoghurt (or Greek)
1 LeanShake Vanilla sachet
2 tbsp of BalanceOil+ Grapefruit, Lemon, Lime

Method:
Blend all ingredients together until smooth in a blender.
Pour into glass and add a fresh strawberry to the side of glass.
Enjoy!

Vanilla smoothie

Ingredients:
1 cup of frozen banana
1 cup of yoghurt (Greek or coconut)
2 tbsp of BalanceOil+ Vanilla
1 LeanShake Vanilla sachet
2 scoops of ZinoBiotic+
2 tbsp spoon of chia seeds
¼ cup of almonds

Method:
Blend all ingredients together until smooth in a blender.
Pour into glass and add 1 teaspoon of peanut butter on top.
Enjoy!
